From the coast or the traditional village of Spartilas we hike up the southern flanks of Corfu’s highest peak. Through forest we reach the road to the summit of Pantokrator with its beautiful Monastery. We continue around the mountain to enjoy views of the northern side of the island before descending on the limestone plateau to Taxiarchis Chapel (with view) and back to Spartilas
Hike between Agios Ioannis or Benitses and Stavros Mountain, with views over the Eastern coastline. (Approx. 14 km. / 5 hrs/ 550 m ascent & descent)
This walks starts with a steep ascent through exuberant vegetation along the Agi Deka water springs. From the cluster of traditional villages belonging to Stavros we have a splendid view of the village of Benitses and the East coast of the Island. We continue our walk to the viewpoint on Mount Stavros from where we descend back to Benitses.
Day walk along Erimitis Peninsula, from Kaminaki beach to Kassiopi. With abundant opportunities for swimming. Approx. 15 km/ 5 hrs./ 300 m ascent & descent. The Erimitis Peninsula is almost the entire Northeast Peninsula of the island, stretching from San Stefanos to Avlaki. This area contains a huge biodiversity of immense natural beauty and is a paradise for walkers and nature lovers. Unfortunately, plans for heavy construction in this area are well under way, which would mean a desaster for the ecological value. Please follow the link to the website and show your support.
