Whether on the coast or inland, Corfu is sufficiently large to boast an incredible variety of scenery, making it an ideal destination for activity holidays such as walking. Even travellers who have visited time and time again can always find new locations to explore. The islands' landscapes change through all seasons, with varieties of flora to be admired at each time of the year.
Guided group walking tour "from Sea to Summit"
in July 2024 we organise a combined group walking tour of stunning stretches of the Corfu Trail with the mountains and National park of Pindos and Zagorochoria on the Greek mainland! The Ionian Sea in combination with the icold, but cleanest rivers and springs in Europe, intensive hikes through virgin forests and the second highest peak of Greece. Accommodation is basic, in shared rooms at comfortable guest houses and family run hotels. Group size is from 4 to maximum 12 participants and the group is accompanied by our local, English speaking walking guide. An unforgettable experience!!!
Trailrunning on Corfu Island
Are you an enthusiastic runner who prefers running off road on challenging routes and paths in nature taking in spectacular views? The Trail Running event Corfu Mountain Trail is organized once a year on the footpaths of Corfu Island. In 2024 this will be on the 11th and 12th of May.
